Application for Startpage Sub-page Editor


A few points before you begin...
 

Please read the following points carefully before completing the application form below:

  • Once we have received your application to create and maintain a sub-page on Startpage.co.za, it will be reviewed by Startpage's administrators who have the final say in whether your application will be accepted or not. Note: no sub-pages on brand names will be allowed and we therefore suggest that you have a passion for the topic on which you want to run a sub-page.
  • The suggested sub-page name should coincide with the suggested content for the sub-page. The main consideration for allowing a new sub-page is not based on whether the domain name is available, but on whether the proposed sub-page will add value to the user and the rest of the Startpage system.
  • The setting up of a sub-page requires only a small amount of technical knowledge and with some perseverance you will easily be able to set-up your sub-page.
  • Keep in mind that each sub-page should contain at least 50 links so you should make sure that you would be able to gather this amount of links before you apply.
  • No sub-page should be created with the sole intention of making money from it and the links on it should be chosen objectively. You will however be allowed to sell the top right banner position and a limited number of commercial text links on your sub-page.
  • A sub-page is a links page, containing links that has been selected objectively. No sub-page should be created to vent your own opinion only or to promote your own web site(s).
  • Please do not apply for any erotic, porn or sexual pages as these will not be allowed. These pages are controlled by only one organisation which has been appointed already.
